Most states want 80% or better

Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania want 27 of 30 — 90%. New South Wales lets you drop four questions out of 45. There is not much room to wing it, which is the whole argument for practising on the real thing.

Before you start

Is it actually free?

The tests marked free are free — no account, no card, no trial that quietly turns into a charge. Premium unlocks the remaining tests for one state.

Where do the questions come from?

Your state's official handbook. They are written to match the coverage and style of the real test, not copied from it — no Australian authority publishes its live question bank, and anyone claiming otherwise is guessing.

Does buying one state cover the others?

No. Each state sets its own test, so each is sold separately. Almost nobody needs two.

Can I sit the real test at home?

In NSW, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia and Tasmania, yes — the official test is now an online course you complete at home. Western Australia and the Northern Territory still test in person, and in the ACT the test sits inside the mandatory pre-learner course.

Is this the same as your app?

Same questions. The app and the website are separate purchases — an App Store subscription does not unlock this site.
